League information

The League Times reads public, read-only league information from Sleeper and ESPN when a username or league ID is submitted. We never request or receive your Sleeper password.

ESPN access

The League Times first checks an ESPN league link or ID using publicly viewable fantasy data. For a private league, your browser can request the league directly from ESPN using your existing ESPN sign-in. The browser sends ESPN cookies only to ESPN; The League Times does not ask for your ESPN password and cannot read, copy, or store those cookie values.

Private ESPN data returned to the page is calculated and retained locally in your browser and is not uploaded to The League Times servers. Older local ESPN imports and JSON export files remain supported.

Yahoo connections

Yahoo handles your sign-in and consent. The League Times never receives your Yahoo password. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted on the server, associated with an opaque connection identifier, and used only to retrieve fantasy data you request. They are not included in browser storage, report links, exports, analytics, or application logs.

Storage and retention

Completed public league reports and public player metadata may be cached to improve speed. Private ESPN imports and their recently viewed entries remain in this browser across reloads and browser restarts until you select Delete private import or clear The League Times site data. Anonymous, one-way identifiers are retained briefly to enforce abuse limits; raw IP addresses are not stored in that rate-limit table. Yahoo credentials remain encrypted until you disconnect, revoke access, or the connection becomes invalid.

Error monitoring

When a request or page fails, The League Times may record a timestamp, anonymous request identifier, error category, page path, and limited diagnostic message. Passwords, authorization headers, cookies, authorization codes, access or refresh tokens, and private ESPN league contents are excluded from monitoring context.

Sharing

Anyone with a league report link may be able to view the same public league information. Locally imported ESPN reports cannot be recreated from their URL and are not made public.

Contact and deletion

Select Delete private import from a private ESPN report to remove that saved league from this browser. You can also clear The League Times site data in your browser. You can delete Yahoo credentials immediately using Disconnect Yahoo on the import screen.
